Guest for lunch...

A little woodland friend showed up today for lunch.
This "guest" had yellow spots, a wide mouth, long claws and a tail......

A BOX-TURTLE!

We fed our friend bananas and watermelon, with a tin pie pan filled with water.
The turtle ate very quickly and then went back to it's natural home in the woods.... But we DID manage to snag a few "memory photos"!

Now he has banana on his nose!
